TISA Bank has officially opened its Kavieng Branch, marking a significant milestone in the bank's commitment to expanding access to banking services in New Ireland Province.
The opening ceremony was held in Kavieng and attended by the Governor of New Ireland Province, the Honourable Byron Chan, alongside provincial leaders, TISA Bank representatives, business partners and members of the public.
Speaking at the event, TISA Bank Board Chairman Moses Koiri said the new branch represents more than a physical expansion; it reflects a commitment to being closer to the people of New Ireland.
“This is more than a new branch for TISA Bank. It is our commitment to be closer to the people of New Ireland, making banking more accessible and practical for families, workers and businesses across the province,” Koiri said.
He noted that New Ireland is known for its strong communities and hardworking people, and TISA Bank’s presence in Kavieng reflects its desire to support local development through reliable and relevant banking services.
