TISA Bank Appoints Luke Kaul as Acting CEO to Drive Continued Growth and Stability

TISA Bank Limited is proud to announce the appointment of Luke Kaul as acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 16 February 2026. Endorsed by the TISA Bank Board, this strategic appointment ensures strong leadership and continuity as the Bank continues to expand its presence in Papua New Guinea’s financial sector.

Kaul, a seasoned industry veteran, brings over a decade of leadership experience to the role. His extensive background spans retail banking, lending, and risk and compliance, with a career distinguished by operational scaling and the development of high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Since 2018, Kaul has served as Group Chief Operating Officer of TISA Group, playing a fundamental role in the Group’s expansion. He has been instrumental in overseeing group-wide operations, executing core strategies, and building institutional capacity that underpins the Bank’s current success.

TISA Bank Chairman Moses Koiri highlighted the significance of the appointment for both customers and stakeholders:

The appointment is subject to a fit-and-proper assessment by the Bank of Papua New Guinea. Kaul will serve in the interim while the Board conducts a formal, comprehensive recruitment process for a permanent Chief Executive Officer.
