The Remington Group has welcomed five new young professionals into its 2026 intake, comprising two Graduate Development Program (GDP) trainees and three Junior Service Technician apprentices, following a competitive nationwide selection process.

From applicants across Papua New Guinea’s four regions, 19 GDP candidates and 7 apprenticeship candidates were shortlisted, with five ultimately selected to join the programs.

The 2026 intake includes:

  • Michelle Bilson – Junior Service Technician Apprentice (Remington Technology)
  • Nadia Kila – Graduate Trainee (Marketing)
  • William Marjen – Junior Service Technician Apprentice (FX Business Centre)
  • Sinclair Sabadi – Graduate Trainee (IT)
  • Antonette Bapi – Junior Service Technician Apprentice (Remington Technology)

The one-year Graduate Development Program provides structured training, mentoring, and preparation for long-term career opportunities within the Group.

The four-year Apprenticeship Program, delivered in partnership with the National Apprenticeship and Trade Testing Board (NATTB), combines formal trade certification with hands-on experience to develop nationally recognized technical skills.

Chief Executive Officer Justin Kieseker said investing in young Papua New Guineans remains central to the Remington Group’s long-term strategy.

“Sustainable growth depends on building local capability. Since launching in 2020, these programs have created clear pathways into permanent roles and future leadership," Kieseker said.

General Manager – Human Resources, Madeline Orim, added: “Our selection process was rigorous. We looked for technical ability, character, and long-term potential. This intake reflects our continued commitment to developing skilled professionals who can contribute meaningfully to both the business and the country.”
