Trukai Industries has renewed its sponsorship of the Papua New Guinea Game Fishing Association for another four years, reinforcing its support for sports tourism and community engagement.
The company presented a K50,000 cheque to the Game Fishing Committee for this year’s tournament.
Trukai said the four-year commitment reflects its continued support for anglers, organisers, and the wider community involved in the event.
The company also acknowledged the Game Fishing Committee for granting Trukai exclusive rights to showcase Trukai Rice and Trukai Flour during the tournament.
Trukai said the partnership would provide an opportunity to promote Papua New Guinea’s waters and support sports tourism.
The next Game Fishing Tournament will be held in Lae, the home of Trukai Industries.
The K50,000 cheque was presented to Scott Randal, President of the Lae Game Fishing Club.
Trukai said it looked forward to continuing the partnership over the next four years and supporting the growth of the tournament.
