Future Of Resource Projects To Be Announced In April
Future prospects for resource projects including Wafi-Golpu and P’nyang will be made know later this month.
Prime Minister James Marape said this at the state-of-emergency update last Friday.
He said at this juncture they are working hard to ensure low hanging fruits such as resource projects are progressing during this period of tough times.
Marape said the government is in discussions with development partners and leaders on the future of important projects such as the Wafi-Golpu and P’nyang.
“In the month of April the future of these projects will be announced including major announcement on the future of Porgera mine,” he said.
He said this is to ensure that all the big projects on the horizon come into play. This is by ensuring that their future are being discussed at the very earliest.
